Booking terms and conditions
BOOKING / DEPOSIT: Due to the uncertainties surrounding Covid-19 with travel to the Outer Hebrides, we will take a deposit payment of only £100 at the time of booking. The remaining balance will then be due 1 month prior to arrival.
Oil heating, electricity, linen and towels are provided in the rental agreement.
CANCELLATION: If cancelled due to travel restrictions because of Covid-19, then a full refund including the deposit will be processed.
The £100 deposit, if cancelled anytime, (not Covid-19 related) is non refundable.
If the booking is cancelled less than 1 month before arrival (not Covid-19 related), then the full amount for the stay will be charged.
COVID: Should a guest fall ill with Covid, every effort will be made to help and assist. However, the guest will be liable for additional costs associated with an extended stay through illness and or self-quarantine.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE: Check in from 3pm onwards on day of arrival and 10am on day of departure.
WEATHER / TRAVEL: In the event of weather disruption with travel links to and from the Island, we will make every effort to accommodate our customers. However we cannot be held responsible when the disruptions are out with our control.
PETS: We are always delighted to meet and greet your well behaved four legged friends.
Pets are allowed only in the down stairs of the property and only on the wooden flooring areas. Pets are not allowed in any of the bedrooms or on any of the carpeted areas. No pets allowed on any of the furniture.
We would appreciate if all guests who bring pets with them act responsibly and clean up after them in the garden and croft area.
We charge a nightly fee of £10 per dog per night to accommodate them.
CLEANING & DAMAGES: We ask that the property is left clean and tidy on day of departure. If there is any accidental damage then please contact the proprietors on – 01851 820443 / 07400115516. Any person wilfully damaging the property will be removed along with the other occupants and liable for the damage caused.
Vehicles and contents are left at the owner’s risk. The proprietors will not be held responsible for any injuries caused to persons on the property that have not been caused through the fault of the proprietors.
SMOKING: No smoking in the property. Any person found to be smoking in the property will be liable for removal and a fine of £150.00 will be administered.
OCCUPANCY: Maximum occupancy is 6 people.
ELECTRICAL GOODS: We would be grateful if guests would not leave any electrical appliances or mobile devices on or on charge during the night or unattended during the day.
CANDLES: We would appreciate if guests would not use / light candles because of the associated fire hazard.
(Please note: Vodafone mobile network works best on the Island and at Pabbay House, however most smartphones now have WIFI calling)
